About SetAlarm

SetAlarm is a free, browser-based suite of time tools designed for one simple goal: putting a beautiful, readable clock or timer on any screen. Whether you need a classroom countdown timer, an operations center wall clock, a meeting stopwatch, or just a quick alarm — SetAlarm does it without downloads, sign-ups, or clutter.

The idea came from a common frustration: existing online timers and clocks are either packed with ads that obscure the display, look dated, or lack basic features like fullscreen mode and font customization. SetAlarm was built to be the tool you actually want displayed on a 65-inch TV in a conference room — clean, modern, and fully customizable. The main display area is always ad-free, with minimal advertising placed only below the fold in the footer area.

Every feature runs entirely in your browser. Your settings are saved locally on your device, and nothing is sent to a server. The alarm sounds are generated programmatically using the Web Audio API, so there are no audio files to download and no copyright concerns.

Who We Are

SetAlarm was created by Kenny, a software developer based in the United States who was frustrated with the cluttered, ad-heavy timer sites that dominate search results. What started as a personal project to put a clean clock on a conference room TV grew into a full suite of time tools used by teachers, students, professionals, and anyone who just needs a reliable timer without the noise. The goal has always been simple: build the best free time tool on the web and keep it that way.

SetAlarm is free to use and always will be. If you find it useful, sharing it with others is the best way to support the project.
